My neighbor and I moved into our homes 20 years ago. We were chatting about a rather large upcoming expense they had on the horizon. Because this is how my brain works, I said, “Did you know that if we saved $5/day from when we moved in, we’d have $36,500?” That’s not even adding interest.
I whipped out the calculator at CIT Bank to find that $5/day at 2% annual interest is just under $45,000! Wouldn’t that be a great feeling to know that if you squirreled away $5/day you’d have that nest egg?
If you are looking for an attainable resolution for the new year, how about banking $5/day?
You could open an account at CIT Bank and get this ball rolling. FYI: I have an account there. It is FDIC insured. Safe. Legit.
