Quick Card Tip #2 – $3,242 Cash Back

Yesterday I mentioned that I use my No Annual Fee, 2% cash back credit card for everything possible.

2% cashback seems like nothing. That’s 2 cents back on every dollar spent on the card. Big whoop! I would not bend over to pick up two pennies on the sidewalk.

But… it adds up.

Unconsciously, over the past 2½ years my 2% cashback card has kicked back to me $3,242. That money is a rebate so it is tax-free as well.

If you find it dizzying to figure out which credit card is best for you or if you are looking for your first credit card, go with a 2% cashback card that never charges an annual fee.

Citi’s Double Cash back pays 1% when you make a purchase and 1% when you pay it off. That’s 2%!! Fidelity Investments’ 2% card requires opening a brokerage account with them. Some find that dizzying, so go with Citi Double Cash which you can find here:

Or look at the top right side of this website under “Chip’s Favorite Credit Card Offer$” click “Cash Back Credit Cards”. That will take you to a secure site where you can get more info on these bad boys. Email me if you have any questions. Full disclosure: I may get a commission if you use my links so… Thanks!
