Get NFL Sunday Ticket for FREE

I’ve gotten NFL Sunday Ticket for free – FOUR years in a row!  That’s a nice little run.

Here are a few ways you can get it free (Tweet it):

A) You could steal it. But, it’s probably best to not spend the 7th day resting while simultaneously shattering one of The Commandments.

B) You can get it free if you are a new customer to DirecTV, and sign a two-year contract with the “Choice” package or higher.  If you apply via this link, I get a taste from them.  It’s the same deal for you, but I get a li’l sumthin’, and isn’t that what life’s all about?

DirecTV_Refer_Friend-smOr… if you are going to be a new customer to DirecTV, you can also get $100 off if you are referred by someone who has it. The referrer also gets $100 in statement credits. Order online at directv.com/refer or by calling 1-800-507-4045. Please give them my account number 15929124 when asked who referred you – so we can both get rich. Rich, I tell you. RICH!

C) If you are already a DirecTV subscriber and eschew thievery, here’s the first step I took to getting it free. I called DirecTV. I told the robot that I wanted to “disconnect service”. This got me a human in “Customer Retention”.  If you aren’t going to utter the words…

“Disconnect Service” – just hang up the phone. You are wasting your time.

Here’s how I got it free the past few years.

In 2012…

I got it free when I finally upgraded from standard def to HDTV.  No word as to when I will upgrade from candelabras to lamps.

In 2013…

I politely asked MJ in Customer Retention if there was any way I could get NFL Sunday Ticket for free. MJ looked at my account, which is already maxed out with discounts, and said she could give me NFL Sunday Ticket for free if I agreed to keep DirecTV for a year. This did not extend my contract a year. I just can’t cancel DirecTV for 12 months or I’d have to pay a cancellation fee of $10/month. Your results may vary, but it’s worth a call. Done and done. I saved $224.95.

In 2014…

I had a different experience.  On my first call, they only offered to drop the price $48.  No bueno.  FYI: 2014 price for NFL Sunday Ticket is now $239.94.  NFL Sunday Ticket MAX is $329.94.

I called back a few days later.  I simply asked Tiffany in Customer Retention, “Is there any way I can get NFL Sunday Ticket for free?”  She could not offer me anything off the regular package, but said she could get me NFL Sunday Ticket MAX for half-price or $164.97.  This is the package that allows one to play it on multiple devices, among other things.

I thanked her but said that was more than I wanted to spend.  She asked me if I had seen other offers from competitors.  I said I knew they existed, but had not pursued them.

She said that they valued my long-time loyalty, so she was able to drop another $100 off the price.  Now we are at $64.97.  That’s only $4/game.  I would have accepted that, but figured I had one more move.  I thanked her, but asked if there was any way I could work out some kind of discount for the less expensive regular package, so I would have less out of pocket.

Tiffany said because of my long time loyalty and perfect payment record, she could give me a one time courtesy credit of $64.97.  TOUCHDOWN!  What surprised me the most is that I didn’t have to try very hard.  Give it a shot!

In 2015…

There are two packages.  NFL SUNDAY TICKET 2015 is $251.94 and NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX is $353.94. With NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX, you’ll have access to all the regular NFL SUNDAY TICKET features, plus additional enhanced features such as RED ZONE CHANNEL, FANTASY ZONE CHANNEL, Short Cuts, plus mobile and online access.

After three years of getting it free, I’m running into some difficulty in Year Four.  I called three days in a row.  Each time, their offer got better.

1st call: Best they could do was give me MAX for half off.  That came to $176.97.
2nd call: Nicole offered me MAX for half off ($176.97) + free Showtime for 4 months.  They also took $3 off my Regional Sports package for 12 months.  I accepted the $3/month discount, but declined MAX and Showtime.
3rd call: Vicky offered me MAX for less than half off ($167.96).  I said that I liked the football but wasn’t sure it was worth it to watch my Bengals.  Then she said she could offer me a one-time statement credit of $85.  That brought it down to a total of $83.98.  That’s about $5/game which is reasonable, but I politely declined.  She said she will keep that offer in my file and I can let them know later.  I figure I will call again next week.  Stay tuned!
(UPDATED 8/18/15 — TOUCHDOWN + 2 Point Conversion!)
4th call: It’s been two weeks since my last call. This time my approach was slightly different. I did not mention NFL Sunday Ticket at the beginning (in case they were on to me; how could they NOT be?). I simply asked if there were any promotions available. Christina thanked me for calling. She mentioned that someone had spoken to me two weeks ago. Then she asked how much I wanted to spend every month. That would have veered off into the wrong discussion. I redirected by saying that when I spoke to them a couple weeks ago, I was told to call back to ask if any promotions were available on my account.

Christina blew me away! “I see there is a $40 off per month for 12 months, with a 1 year agreement,” she said. Then I asked if she had any NFL Sunday Ticket promotions. She said that I qualified for the NFL Sunday Ticket MAX (the more expensive $330 version). She said that would actually give me $5 more off per month. I was concerned that there was a miscommunication. I feared that I was going to get $45 off per month but have to pay for NFL Sunday Ticket. NOPE. $45 off/month PLUS NFL Sunday Ticket Max for free!

Just like how you don’t want to leave a fishing spot when they are jumping on your hook, I asked if there were any HBO or Showtime promotions. I had just cancelled those a few weeks ago because the shows I watched ended, as did my discounts. I also thought it might be easier to get something for free if I didn’t have it on my account. I guess I was right.  Christina said she could give me HBO, Showtime and Cinemax for 3 months free.  She also said I could get a free upgrade to their wireless genie system but I held off.

Get in there. The fish are jumpin’!  See my account update below.  No foolin’ ’round.

In 2016…

I checked in with DirecTV 4-5 times.  I never got much.  $9 off or $5 off HBO.  I said, “No thank you” every time.  Today, 9/14/16, Jerry offered me ST MAX for $179.99.  That’s it. I told him that friends of mine got $50 off per month for 12 months and ST (not Max) for free.  He didn’t budge. I politely asked if he thought a supervisor could get me a better deal.

Jerry transferred me to Corin.  I told her about $50 off per month for 12 months and free ST.  She said she could do the $600 in discounts and ST MAX for $99.96.  Then she offered to split that with me.  Greedily, I asked if there were any one time credits for the $49.98.  Corin said, “I offered to split the $99.96 with you.”  Damn she’s good!  I accepted it.  $600 – $49.98 + ST MAX = Good phone call.

Takeaway: Don’t be afraid to ask for the Customer Retention supervisor.  See screenshot of my deal below.

NOTE

If you had NFL Sunday Ticket last year, you will automatically get billed for it. You have until the season starts to cancel that. I cancelled the auto-billing of NFL Sunday Ticket on my account before making the calls to Customer Retention.

Another NFL Deal — Get $100 and your NFL team’s Visa card

Here’s another football related deal.  Get your NFL team’s Visa card.  Earn 10,000 bonus points after $500 in purchases, redeemable for $100 cash back Visa statement credit.

  1. Any success in 2016? I too have had quite the streak (5 yrs for me) getting free ST. However, this year had been awful so far. It appears the switch to ATT has changed things. Several others have noted getting nowhere with CSRs on any ST discounts.

  2. When I called the other day, they offered free Starz/Showtime for 3 months. I declined. The CSR said I had a $30 off per month discount on my account that was going to roll off on the 18th. She said to call back after that is gone and more discounts should appear. Hopefully ST!

  3. I was just offered Sunday ticket for free with a one year agreement , I’m holding out for max tho. This is year 5 for me getting it free. Also tell them how much of an inconvenience It is to not have NBC. They will work with you. GL

  4. First of all, thank you Chip! I found your site last year (2015) and got ST max completely free! WooHoo!

    2016:
2 minutes after cancelling my auto bill pay on the directv site I called yesterday (8/10/16). When prompted to ask why I am calling, I mentioned “disconnect service”. At that point I was transferred to customer retention where I spoke to Mark. I started the conversation with cancelling my 3 month special on HBO. After that change was made Mark asked if there was anything else – so the door was opened. I politely asked if there was any way I could get ST for free. Mark immediately said he would not be able to do that but would check into what he could do. At that point I was put on hold for about 5 minutes. When Mark returned he repeated he could not give me ST for free but stated he had an offer he thought I would like better. Obviously, I was a bit pessimistic. However, Mark told me he could give me $50 off p/mo for 12 months if I agree to a one year contract. So, $360 for ST max vs. $600. Considering the couple comments below related to the switch I decided to jump on it and accept the offer. Touchdown!!

For what it’s worth, there was never any discussion on me disconnecting my service.

  5. I just got the Max version for 4 payments of $24.99. I had hbo and cinemax free for 3 months, and I called to cancel those and asked if there were any other promotions running. Without saying a word about football she mentioned she could give it to me for the price above. She also mentioned starz and showtime, and I asked if I can flip that money into Sunday Ticket. She said unfortunately no. I decided to take the offer as I thought it was super easy for my first time around.

  6. I have also received Sunday Ticket for free the last four years as well as other yearly discounts, premium channels, etc. I’ve called multiple times this year and the best deal on Sunday Ticket they’ve provided me was $54 off the one time payment. It appears the AT&T acquisition has changed things significantly. Let me know if any of you have any luck and what strategy you used! Thanks!

  7. I just called and I didn’t have any luck with Sunday Ticket, but I did get $50 off for 12 months and $7 off for 6 months. The CSR did say to try back at the end of the month and ask about Sunday Ticket so definitely will.

  8. I have a $30 off per month discount that rolls off this month. I’m going to call after it does. The DirecTV CSR said that should open up more discounts for me. I’ll let you know what happens.

  9. Nice discounts! If memory serves, the best I ever got was $30 + $10 off per months for 12 months plus $5 off for 6 months. Yours is more.

  10. I called yesterday. Been a customer for 6 years and have had it free every year. I told them recently just married and Wife wanted to cut costs. DirectTv just raised our bill in Feb to extra $5/mo plus the auto renewal for Sunday Tix showed up.

Retention guy was sympathetic. Offered me $50 off for 12 months, $9 off for 6 months. So i’m paying $.99/month for Sunday Tix max and then gte $50 off bill remaining 6 months.

It seemed tougher to get and the guy told us they had to play under different rules this year than before. Good luck!

  11. SCORE! Was able to get NFLST MAX for free for 2016. Have contract that goes through June 2017. DISH is offering a $200 VISA card if you sign up, I considered switching to DISH (they have RED ZONE) and paying less per month total. There was a long pause and then the CSR asked if I would be interested in NFL ST MAX for free for 2016. I said YES PLEASE. They added it as one time charge of $359.94 and applied a $359.94 credit.

I was starting to have my doubts on getting free again, as this was my 5th attempt in August. I don’t know if the free option just opened up, but only took 1 CSR today.

    Good luck and GO SEAHAWKS!

  12. Trying this (Customer of 2 years). I called today to see what they could do and they said $6 off/month. I said no thanks and asked them to cancel Sunday Ticket as it would be too expensive. I’ll try again next week. Hopefully I have better luck with a different rep and now that ST is cancelled.

  13. Good. Ya gotta cancel it to have a chance to get t for free. It’s been my experience that they will not give you any ST discount if you are currently subscribing to it.

  14. Chip – thanks so much for this site. It’s my go to every year at this time to see what I can do about NFL ticket. I’ve been getting it free or very close to free for many years now. I just called to cancel it and of course the best offer I got so far was $9 off for the monthly charge for it. I am actually willing to go without it this year but will likely call back and see what kind of deals they offer as the season approaches. One year I called on the 1st Sunday of football and got the ticket for free and paid I think $38 for Max. We’ll see what happens this year. In the meantime, though wanted to thank those that posted and also let you know that I got offered 2 options without having NFL ticket of $30 off for 24 months with 2 year contract and then because of the comments above I asked about a 12 month offer. I got the $50 off for 12 months. Like the shorter commitment. I’ll keep checking back to see what others are getting this year. Again – I really appreciate this information and the others that have posted here!

  15. I was just offered MAX for 4 payments at 24.99 or free if I extend my agreement by a whole year. I’ll take the max for 100 bucks and was offered free showtime for four months. Why not! Go Bills!

  16. Just called….they offered me the $9 off per month for ST. I declined and told them to cancel my ST renewal. Silence for a few minutes…then they asked is there was anything else. So now my ST is cancelled. What do you recommend I do now? Should I call back again and ask for any current discounts off my normal service? What phrasing do you all use?

  17. They won’t offer you the free ST if you are paying for it. So good on ya to cancel it! I’d wait a few days and call back to see what offers are available. Sounds like you got a jerk on the phone.

  18. So just called again….Cancelled ST yesterday. Asked if they could help lower the bill. They offered me $5 off my bill for 12 months. I currently have a promo channel that I did not want. It was $7 off Starz and Showtime for 3 months. Should I get that removed from my account and try again. Without having ST there is no reason for me to keep DirecTV as they are far more expensive. Any ideas?

  19. James, if you cancel DirecTV, you can always come back and get it for free for coming back. Maybe not this season. For what it’s worth, I called for someone last night. They did not give ST but said that free offers of ST happen as the season gets closer.

  20. Just called today to see if there were any deals on ST Max and the rep was able to discount it $15/month down to $44/month which is a little less than regular ST. Also, the $15/month would continue for 6 months after the NFL season is over. That is not a bad deal, but I told her to cancel ST Max as I wanted to cut costs more. She said to call back during the first week of the season as the NFL provides more discounts on the package to DirecTV. I will call back again next week and see what I can get.

  21. Keep us posted. The first week is always free, so we don’t have to sweat until the Sunday of Week 2 – which is September 18th.

  22. So when I got my most recent bill ST auto-renewed. When I went to cancel I was told I could get $13 off per month and I declined and it was cancelled. I called today and was offered $50 a month off for 12 months which is a savings of $600 over the year. For the 6 months of ST it’s like get $5 off ($50-$44.99) and the remaining 12 months is $50. It did required me to sign a year contract but I was already bound under the previous for another 2 months and I don’t have any compelling reason to change. I did try to squeeze for more (Max or further discount) but she reiterated what a good deal this was. I told I would think about it and call back- she warned me that the promotion might not be available then. When I realized the the regular ST has mobile streaming that was good enough for me so I took the deal. Perhaps I could have gotten better on another call but I am content with it and I don’t have to play the game until next year. 😉

  23. Update: when I went to http://www.nfl.com/nflsundayticket the wording makes it sound as if you need MAX to stream games. So I did a chat with DirecTV rep (not signed into my account but at there promo page for perspective customers) and he said that you can’t stream on the regular Sunday Ticket. So being PO’d I called DirecTV and explained what happened. The rep did say with the regular you can watch a game on the hardwired TV and one additional game on the tablet. I said I was a little concerned about the conflicting info so I asked how much it would be to upgrade to Max. She looked and said “Oh, I have a specialty loyalty offer” and was able to upgrade me for FREE. 😉

So in the end it worked out just fine- and know that not every rep is goes the extra yard (pun intended) to get you max (pun again intended) benefits. Be persistent.

  24. Just called, service disconnect. Said they don’t have ST for free, right now, as this year is different. Could give other discounts to offset cost. She said they could give loyalty discount of $45/mo for 12 mths (started at $25, then $40) = $540 plus $12/mo for 6 mths = $72 for Starz/SportsPak that I already had = $612 in discounts . ST is 6 x $44.99= $269.94. Net credit ($612 -269.94) = $342.56 for year, or a $28.55 discount/mo on my current programming. Asked for $50 loyalty per mth/12. Said couldn’t go anymore. I had to re-up for 1 year. But could stay on any DTV package, didn’t need to stay on Choice, like last year.
Last year, 1st time free with ST no charge, with 1 year Choice pkg, but $462 of net credits ($30 for 12 mths plus $17 off for 6 mths for Starz /SportzPak for the year). The 2015 $462 net credit compares to the 2016 $342.56 net credit for this year. Worse off by $119.44 per year or $9.95 per mth. Still getting ST for free, but less net credit/discount for year, don’t need to stay on Choice, as long as DTV for 1 year.
Could have just called back another time perhaps for a slightly better deal, but the deal wasn’t that bad. I was within $10 per month of last year’s savings. Probably could have gotten $5-10 more off per mth, If I called back every so often. But figured OK with it. So went ahead. I can save the $9.99/mth worse off by downgrading from Choice to Entertainment for $13 monthly savings at my option. I mainly watch Sports and the Network channels, and actually upgraded to Choice last year just for ST.

  25. One other observation. The $50/mth for 12 mths is a discount off the DTV package that people are on e.g. Choice or Xtra etc. Plus others are getting discounts off Premium channels such as HBO or Starz which normally last 3 or 6 mths. All these discts are just loyalty discounts and not strictly related to ST. Most people are actually paying the regular mthly charge for ST or ST Max of $44.99 or $59.99 for 6 mths, offset by these mthly discounts.

I did see Tyler on 8/16 with a June ’17 contract get ST Max absolutely free with a one time charge of $359.94 and a one time credit of $359.94, which looks like a “real free ST Max offer, period”. So I’ll monitor DTV to see if there is a real “free ST offer, period” between now and 9/11 or 9/18 before the start of the season, when the NFL offers more discounts per Charlie on 8/23. If that was the case, theoretically I could try cancelling the ST billing that I just signed up for today, as long as it’s before the start of the season, then ask for the free ST offer and save the cost of the ST charges, period, resulting in a “free ST, period”. It seems good in theory?

  26. I called and threatened to cancel, saying that Sunday Ticket is the only thing tying me to Directv. They offered my $9 per month off of the $59/month price (net of $50 per month for the 6 months of season). PLUS they offered me another $45 off per month for 12 months I sign 1 year term. So the way I’m looking at it is I am paying $5 per month for 6 months for Sunday Ticket and then the remaining 6 months, I get $45 off my bill. They have it saved on my account – I am going to call again to try to get more but will likely accept this offer. I’m going to push for the same offer without the 12 month agreement.

  27. So just hung up and 30 minutes later=success!! So after going back and forth for 20 minutes finally got them to offer 50 off per month which they offer everyone for new one year agreement. Then told them that the only reason I joined was for the ticket but just too expensive now. Basically went on to tell them I can bundle my internet with my cable and pay close to what i pay ditevt with internet and same channels. They didnt budge then i told her that cable is offering $200 visa which they are and can use that to pay for ticket on streaming. That worried her. Put me on hold to ask supervisor. 3 minutes later came back and said one year 60 a month and free ticket! Cracked a beer and cheers to myself. Just when I started thinking I’m gonna have to pay.

  28. Just got Sunday Ticket Max for free without needing a 1 year commitment. I told them that my “brother-in-law” just got a 12 month discount for $50 and they gave him a 15% discount on the Ticket as well. The lady who I talked to last week gave me no movement so I cancelled the ticket totally, the lady today caved without even a fight. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again.

  29. Good job! Sometimes you get stuck talking to the wrong person. Last year I got a guy at DirecTV who would not budge. I floated him suggestions like, “My buddy got $X off per month and a $Y gift card and Free Sunday Ticket.” Everything I said was true but he explained how that was not possible. He must have been trying to impress his boss with his not giving anything away. I hung up, called back the next day, and got what I wanted.

  30. Dang. Strike two. Called and talked to Eric and he offered me ST MAX discounted to 35.99/month. I told him that my buddy got $50 off for 12 months and 15% off ST, but he did not budge. I told him I wanted to cancel service and he then told me my ET fee ($180). I forgot I got an upgraded receiver when I moved last year. That certainly reduces my bargaining power, but I am not giving up yet!

  31. Yeah I’m stuck too. I’ve called 3 times so far and I have gotten them down to the Sunday ticket for half off plus the Max upgrade for free. So $179 for the season. It just seems though that I should be given a better deal though especially since I’ve been paying for it the last 4 years. I have not cancelled it yet and am afraid to lose my savings if I do. I should cancel though and then try to add it later?

  32. DirecTV’s CSR have always told me that I could not get it free if I was already paying for it. That’d be pretty rough if you cancelled it and they did not give you at least the deal they offered today. But ya never know. You could always ask DirecTV how long the offer stays on your account if you cancel. Go from there.

  33. Hi all

So i just spoke with Directv and told them about ST deals that i have read and heard about. I went on to tell that i was not offered these deals when i cancelled my auto renew and i was not happy. So as a result they have given me a discount of $50/mo. for 12 months on my regular programming and then $10/mo. discount for 6 months on my sports pack programming. So now my bill is less expensive with the ST added then it was before i made the call.

  34. Finally success! I just called and they gave me $5 off for 12 months and ST Max for free. I am under contract until Aug 2017 so there were no retention offers like the $50 off per month. I will try again in a few months though but for now ST Max for free is good enough for me!

  35. This is my second year with DirecTV so last year I got ST Max for free with a two year contract. Two days ago I called and spoke with a gentleman telling him I wanted to cancel because we couldn’t afford the price increase after the first year AND ST. He was able to take $5 off my bill and half off ST. I told him that was more than I wanted to spend and thanked him for his time. Yesterday I called and spoke to a woman taking a different approach and asked if there were any promotions on my account, she told me that there was only a $5 off promotion and that they do not offer a ST promotion when you had it free the year before. I kept playing it out waiting to see if she would come up with anything else and before she read the cancellation disclosures I told her nevermind and hung up. (Now I’ve been told not to let it get that close.. oops). Today I got a call from a DirecTV representative stating that my account was closing the 7th (I guess I really pissed the previous girl off so she cancelled it) and she asked what they could have done differently and why I was cancelling. Once again I informed her that I could not afford the price increase and ST and the only reason we have DirecTV is because of ST. She immediately offered ST Max for free and $20 off my bill if I would stay with them another year (not extending my previous contract)! TOUCHDOWN!

  36. I tired last year and got half off. still costly this year the best they could do was $9 off the $59.99. This was after 3 phone calls and said to them that was not good enough and for the first Time I will not be watching the Sunday ticket or my Ravens. Going to use the Kodie program and head to my local bar with the family to eat and watch. Also you have no updated information for 2016. You have the 2015 info and per your facebook page your luck you got it for 4 years. Thanks Chip for your info

  37. I’m still working on them in 2016! A couple phone calls have yielded $9 off per month. Not good enough!! So, I don’t have any real news. I am not concerned since I have 16 days before I would start having to pay for it.

  38. Called today and told the robot I wanted to cancel service. I mentioned to the CSR that I wanted to cancel my ST, as it was just too much money to justify having it. The woman started with $9 off per month for MAX. I said that wasn’t going to help really and I would just cancel. She asked if we used the MAX features (we don’t, but had an amazing deal last year for it), so she said, it would only be $44.99/mo for 6 months. I said, still not going to work, but thanks. She said she would check to see if they had any “deals” on the regular ST packages. She then offered $39.99/mo and a free upgrade to MAX. I still refused and she said $34.99/mo and free upgrade. When I said I still wanted to cancel, she was ready to do it. Then she said, are you SURE you don’t want to keep this and ask your hubby and then call if he still says no? I would “hate for you to lose this opportunity”. Okay, so I’m a sucker and said, let’s leave it at that for now. I think I’m going to call back and cancel, but considering that many aren’t getting even THIS, I’m debating. MAX for $216 instead of $360 isn’t the worst deal I’ve seen. I also have $30 a month credit for one more month, so when that drops, I might just call and see if I can get the $50/mo credit that folks are talking about here….. I’ll update with any new news.

  39. Called and said — and this is the truth, as it is for many people, I imagine — that I only got DirecTV for ST, which, for the first year, was included. I mentioned that without it being included, I don’t have use for the service because the programming doesn’t offer very much (I only watch four of the channels). In fact, I usually do almost all of my watching with Netflix. Anything I do watch with DirecTV is available on Netflix or on network sites. So basically the monthly payment the first year, in my eyes, has been for football. Now, with ST not being included in year 2, it just didn’t make sense to pay 12 months worth of payments simply for the privilege to pay even more, for football. I mean, that’s like $1,500 for football, as if $1,200 wasn’t bad enough.

Anyway, the first person with whom I spoke wouldn’t even offer the same 20% offer I received online the night before when I cancelled the automatic renewal. This person’s suggestion was to lower my package to offset the cost. Well, that didn’t make much sense, to get even less content than I already have, besides which, a reduction in packages would result in the loss of the NFL Network. So … I’m getting the football package, but I’m not going to be able to watch any of the Thursday Night games? The second person I spoke to seemed to offer the 20% (which is $54), but the way it was presented, I couldn’t be sure. In the end, I canceled my service.

You might ask, if I have no need for the TV service outside of football, why didn’t I simply sign up for the ST streaming service for $200. Well, for one, I didn’t know that the programming would be so lacking. Second, and most importantly, when I had their streaming service through an offer that came with the Madden video game, it didn’t work very well. The video feed would often hesitate, then skip forward, or outright connect. My Internet connection should have been able to handle it, but, for whatever reason, the experience was so bad, I gave up on it and tried listening to the game radio feed for my team over the Internet.

Oh, well, you get used to not having things.

  40. I’ve been with DTV for a year this month. Next bill $40 in discounts will roll off. I cancelled ST during the summer to avoid the autorenewal. I called today and all I was offered was $5 off…pfft. I asked to be transferred to cancellations. Same deal. I told them I have an open offer from cable to bundle with my internet for less money including a gift card to cover termination fees. I said I will get the details and call back. All I got was a “OK, any other questions today?”. That was rough. I’ll call back tomorrow.
