3The jacked-up bonuses on THREE Amex Delta Rewards cards expire tomorrow, June 30th.

Click on “Chip’s Favorite Credit Card Offers” at the top right side of this website then “Airline Miles” to get up-to-date info on these cards and to apply. Email me if you have any questions.

On the personal AND business cards, get 50,000 Delta SkyMiles after spending $2,000 in 3 months of card opening.  That’s an average of only $22/day.  Use the credit card to pay bills that you otherwise would have paid using cash or check.  Use the miles to take free round trips!  Check out: 11 Ways To Meet A Spending Requirement.

Delta50K+$50Also get $50 statement credit if you make a Delta purchase during that time.  The annual fee ($95) is waived the first year.  No Foreign Transaction fees.  Earn a mile per every dollar in purchases, two miles for every dollar in Delta purchases.  Free checked bag for up to 9 people in your party.  At $50 per person per round trip, that is a HUGE savings.  Priority Boarding.  Miles never expire.

NOTE: You can only get the sign-up bonus once in a lifetime on PERSONAL Amex cards.  The personal Gold Delta and Platinum cards are viewed as different products, so you can get the sign-up bonus once on each card.

You can receive the sign-up bonus again on an Amex BUSINESS card as long as it’s been 12 months since you closed your previous business card account.  Not sure if you are a business?  Check out my post: How to Fill Out a Business Credit Card Application

The Platinum Delta SkyMiles card will give you 60,000 miles and 10,000 Medallion Qualification miles after spending $2,000 in 3 months of opening the card.  You will also get $100 statement credit if you make a Delta purchase during the same 3 months.  Well, that’s better, right??  The annual fee ($195) is NOT waived the first year, but you get a domestic round-trip companion ticket every year on your card anniversary.  Not too shabby, especially of you are trying to get elite status on Delta.

Why Delta?

  1. Delta is the world’s largest airline
  2. You can use Delta SkyMiles anywhere they fly, as well as on their worldwide partner airlines
  3. Delta SkyMiles NEVER EXPIRE (unlike other airlines) – even if you cancel cards
  4. You can redeem Delta SkyMiles for a ticket in someone else’s name
  5. The small spending requirement and ability to try out the card is hard to resist

Now One-Ways

Delta now allows you to fly one way using approximately half the miles.  I booked a flight using 12,500 Delta SkyMiles to fly one way from Tampa to Los Angeles.
